My Work

I always like to have a balance of design principles, my style and the client's needs. Here is a snippet of what I have created for organisations I've worked with and some concept projects.

The Plant House

"The Plant House" is the concept of plant decor aka Botanical Artistry. This concept project was inspired by many ‘interior designers around me, my dad being one himself. The colors I have used widely is amber green, which has a very soothing and earthy characteristics. The fonts used are Kudryashev display and Halimum, which kind of says I'm not only serious about plants, but also artistic.

It was a very interesting project to work on, where I created a business card, a logo and tri-fold brochure that showcases the concept.

Tools used: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

Shira Design Studio

Shira design studio is a concept project of my dreams, hidden somewhere deep within. The name is inspired by one of my cats, loaded with catitude and poise. The idea was to bring out a modern yet nostalgic look to my dream studio.

The logo is very simple, no-nonsense and catchy. I have used a san serif font named Blanka which has a modern twist to it. For the business stationery, I wanted to give it an innocent and subtle touch with my childhood favorite colors pastel pink and purple.

Tools used: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop.

Cafe Amour

As a coffee lover myself with no intention to keep it a secret, this would be creatives for my dream cafe. Brown being the color of the flavor (coffee beans), I have indulged in using it across my designs.

Have used Madelyn as the primary font for the logo to make it feel Frenchy. I have used versatile hues of brown to represent the endless kinds of coffee, which I'm sure you would understand if you love it.

A poster, a logo and a menu card along with packaging with a visual representation of my dream cafe.

Tools used: Illustrator and Photoshop.

Book covers, redesigned

My version of book covers for two well-known books.

1. The Alchemist: One book that made me look at life from a different perspective. Here is an attempt at creating a book cover of a kids’ version, if ever it was to be written.

2. The dark side of winter: An humble attempt at redesigning book cover based on just the title of the book.

Tools used: Illustrator and Photoshop.

IDP Education

Few of my creatives for IDP, a well-known ed-tech giant, leading study abroad consultant and proud and sole delivery partner for IELTS. With their stringent brand guidelines and a huge audience, what you see here has probably gone through multiple sets of technically critical views. The designs are simple and functional.

Mind Storm Media

A small and ambitious startup in Chennai, with an enviable list of clients, the range of scope for creativity was wide, yet within every organisation's brand guidelines. Have you come across one of these somewhere?
